Normal Penis Size

Most males achieve normal penis size between the ages of 10-14. This age is when males are nearing puberty. The development of the penis starts first by the enlargement of the testicles. This often leads to confusion in the mind of the males. They feel that the penis is not growing properly as compared to the other parts of the organ. But they do not realize that the process of a growing penis is a gradual process, in which first the testicles develop, then pubic hair starts to grow around the testicles, and then lastly, the penis starts to grow first in length and then in girth. By the age of 17, most males will have reached their normal penis size.

This development may vary from person to person. While some achieve puberty earlier in life, there are some for whom this comes late in their teens. So while some guys in the class may have a full adult sized penis at the age of 14, there might be others who do not have a fully grown organ till the age of 17. This is again a reason for concern for many who feel that they are not developing normally and often visit a urologist. The normal penis size is usually over 4.5 inches while erect. If you are anywhere close to this size, then you have a normal penis size.

Penis size also varies from person to person. This depends on a person’s genetic makeup and health. It is the big myth that people with a bigger penis enjoy a much higher level of sexual satisfaction. Sexual compatibility depends on a lot more reasons that the size of the penis alone. The vagina is an extremely flexible organ and it is built to accommodate even the smallest of objects tightly. So even if you have a normal penis size, you will enjoy a pretty good sexual life.
