This is a very sensitive subject and the results are based on data that cannot always be relied upon. This is simply due to the fact that most subjects tend to oversize and exaggerate a lot about their penis sizes. According to the Kinsey study involving more than 3500 males, the penis sizes may vary according to race - but just a bit. Caucasians have the longest when it comes to the length of an erect penis. Contrary to the popular myth that blacks have the longest and biggest penises, its Caucasians who had the longest penises. The penis sizes for blacks were longer while it was flaccid, but Caucasians fared much better in the erect penis department.

While the average size of a fully erect Caucasian penis was said to be 6.5 inches, blacks came a close second at 6.1 inches. Hispanics came third with their penis measuring 5.9 inches while erect and then the East Asians came last at 5.5 inches. But once again, the results and figures here are  quite tentative and may not be entirely accurate. There have been reports proving that there is a gradual decline in penis sizes as age progresses. Once again, this is not a proven fact, purely due to the lack of volunteers willing to let themselves be measured. After all, the penis is the center of the male ego and any remark on the size can hurt a man very badly.

There have been surveys conducted that claim a gradual decline in  penis sizes after the age of 50. Once again, it depends a great deal on the physical and psychological health of the individual being studied. While a person with a medical condition like diabetes or obesity may find his penis and erection to be smaller than others, a healthy man may not find much of a difference between his erections at the age of 25 and at the age of 50.
